Welcome to a new year of school and a new year of PTA. As we start this year together, please remember the mission of the PTA - is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. Together at MacArthur, we support this mission through our wide-ranging efforts by supporting school and district programs, and supporting the school community through family events.

If this is your first year at MacArthur Elementary, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to each of you. If you are a seasoned General family. I know that you are as excited as I am to be starting the school year up again. Whether a new PTA member or a returning member, we thank you for your contributions. time, and commitment to our organization, our teachers, and most importantly, our students! As a member of the MacArthur PTA, you are a voice for our kids and part of the largest child advocacy program

in the world. Its such a rewarding experience!

As I embark on a second year as your PTA President, I am looking forward to continuing the working partnership we have established with GPISD. Administration and our amazing teachers and staff. We will continue to provide an excellent learning experience for our

children with the support of our members. I encourage each and every one of you to become a part of our team. The number one reason

to join the PTA is to benefit the children. In doing so, you also help us. But there are many

more advantages.

By becoming a PTA member, you'll be demonstrating to your child the importance you
place on education.
By volunteering with Your PTA, you gain valuable experiences and become a role model
for your child. You help others have a good experience, possibly a life changing one!
By getting involved, you'll be part of the solution, helping to make positive change.
The PTA is a forum for exchanging ideas, attend the PTA meetings throughout the year
to be inform, make suggestions, and provide your input.

MacArthur Elementary is truly a special place. We have an amazing community of students, parents, teachers and staff. Contributing to the MacArthur PTA only enhances and strengthens this relationship. Thank you for helping to make every student's potential a

reality.

The PTA budget at MacArthur Elementary has helped paid for a variety of things (past and upcoming) for the 2022-2023 school year.

These things include: 5th grade activities, Boys and Girls Club, School Dances, Christmas Parties, Fathers Bring Your Child to School, Camera Purchase, and much more!
